Job Description
As a Remarketing Specialist you will assist the team in the execution of sales and donations of aged/excess and damaged inventories and associated processes. This position will assist in management of customer orders to ensure timely and complete shipment. Ensures accurate and complete product information is maintained, as well as updated process documentation and customer data. This position will be at our Battle Creek Headquarters with regular attendance up to three days per week and reports to the Sr Manager, Remarketing - Sales Channels. This position has direct contact with our IBP, Supply Chain, Aged Management, distribution centers, bakeries, closeout customers, donation agencies and others. A Taste of What You'll Be Doing Business support - supports the Sr Remarketing Specialists by assisting with aged/excess and damaged inventory sales and donations. Utilizes Salesforce platform and SAP to manage inventory and acquire customer sales and donations. Works within Transplace/Uber Freight to ensure timely shipment. Works with GBS to resolve deduction issues. Technology - Maintains knowledge of Salesforce sales platform and capabilities. Assists customers and team to resolve issues. Recommends process improvements and participates in user acceptance testing and training. Logistics support - works with Distribution Centers on inventory and process issues related to aged and damaged product. Sales and donations management - Updates and releases orders and monitors order progression to ensure timely and complete shipping. Manages customer service functions for assigned orders. Works with customers on purchase order information, delivery appointments and follow-up. Team support - backs up Sr Specialists to maintain continuity of business. We're Looking for Someone With BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Previous experience in Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, or Operations is preferred. Proven record of strong written and verbal communications. Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities under specific time constraints in an intense, challenging environment. Knowledge in SAP, Excel, Teams, Salesforce, and ToolBox helpful.
